"Super location, overlooking the station and Porthminster Beach. Staff were friendly and the bed comfortable. Lots of dining options in St Ives, a short walk away. If you're looking for good value, this is a great option. Breakfast was buffet-style and you could ask for freshly cooked poached or fried eggs if you didn't want them scrambled. "Great stay thank you so much. The women who checked us in was brilliant, friendly, approachable and happy to help with anything. I didn’t catch her name but she was on the desk around 17:30 on the 20th March. The pool could do with a bit of maintenance but overall a great stay with a short walk to the beach and surrounding areas in Newquay. "

"All the staff we met were very helpful & seemed genuinely interested in us & wanting to make our stay as enjoyable as they possibly could. The cafe served excellent food and was reasonably priced but we felt that the restaurant menu wasn't particularly good. The view from our room was superb & the champagne breakfast delivered to our room was a real delight. We enjoyed our stay immensely & would certainly go again but will give the restaurant a miss next time. "

"Incredible few days of rest, self-repair and relaxation! A real treat! Will go again :)"

"This adults only hotel is fabulous! Stayed for a couple of nights and used the spa facilities. The location is good - a 15 minute walk to the town centre and a 10 minute walk to the Boardmasters Beach bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Bug shout out to Neil, Noah and Sarah, the breakfast team who were lovely. "

"The staff were really friendly and very helpful. Everyone was so welcoming to us and my dog. The room was spacious and warm. The bar was funny, playing Coronation Street on the big TV on Friday night was an unexpected vibe! The pool, sauna and steam room were lovely and warm, clean and inviting. However the changing rooms could do with an update! And no coffee machine working for morning coffees or espresso martinis was gutting! "Lovely property in a great location with fantastic history. The welcome and attention by the staff was excellent. However, the suite we had was pleasant enough but was, in our opinion, rather poorly furnished and set out. It didn't spoil our stay but it could have been more comfortable."

"5 star! Stayed for a week at Gardenside and happy to say it was all brand new and so luxurious. The house has 2 luxurious bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs that added extra privacy sharing with my extended family. Literally views that blow your mind. "We chose the Love Shack because of it’s proximity to the beach, it is literally a stones throw away! It’s a very cute place to stay and whilst it’s not show house standard you know what you’re getting if you read the description!It’s a good base for exploring Cornwalls delights and you can walk to Falmouth if you’re so inclined.
