"Lovely hotel in lovely grounds my only niggle was no shower cap in room and no rubber bath mat for shower"

"The property is not located where advertised. It claims to be 1 minute away from the waterside theatre and therefore not far from the train station. This was very important to me and my wife who were travelling with several heavy bags and needed to be very close to both and this is the exact reason we booked it. However, it turns out it’s around 25 minute walk away from the theatre! As a result, we had to take a couple of Ubers back and forth and thought it only fair the host covers the cost...

"This property was very nice and quiet and ideal for a short stay. The kitchen area on the ground floor was especially useful and a very large area. The overall cleanliness of the property was very good and the room was spacious."

"Property is within a private road, with very limited access to visitors. There are a couple of visitors' parking spaces, but those were occupied when I arrived, so I had to park in the nearby public car park. This was free after 6pm, but I had to leave before 9am the next morning to avoid being charged for parking. Other than that, my stay was fine - room was clean and comfortable, and shared bathroom was not an issue, as I think I was the only guest that night."

"Was meant to be a king bed but was a very small single. Poor soundproofing so hard to sleep as other residents were still up. Owner was helpful in the lead up to check in. Did the job but somewhat disappointing. "
