"The staff were really lovely and friendly. The room was great. Getting up the stairs with two really heavy suitcases was a little difficult but we coped. Having the bistro right next door was super convenient. Also having access to a laundry was just brilliant as we had already been away from home for well over a week and really needed to do some washing. "This is an old grand beautiful hotel which is upgraded, so rooms are large and prices are reasonable. We had a two bedroom unit which was completely private with a large common area and bar-fridge/ coffee making etc. bedrooms were large with king sized beds. There are sockets for bedside lamps but there weren’t lamps, a minor fixable issue.
