"Perfect for a one night stop over. Few stray hairs found in the bathroom upon arrival. The people above us were stomping around and we could also hear someone else’s TV so rooms aren’t very sound proof at all. Also could’ve done with a few more pillows as the ones provided were very flat. Otherwise breakfast was great and we ate dinner in the pub which was also good. Would recommend."

"lovely stay in a self catering apartment, well equipped with every thing you require. A well stocked shop 2 doors away. room was very quiet even though it was above the pub. i would stay here again. host were very polite and got us checked in quickly. "

"The food was excellent - there were some interesting and unusual options and our choices were beautifully cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. Lots of hot water. The rooms are all different, ours was very comfortable."

"Quite a self-contained stay. I received instructions as to how to get to my room which was in the adjoining building to the pub. It was a lovely deluxe room with plenty of space allowing me to get some admin work done beflore relaxing. They had a fridge with plenty of items to choose from for the continental breakfast. "A very nice place to relax and just be. Run by very nice people who were always helpful and friendly. Great pizzas on offer were a real bonus, as we're firepits and wood being available. Will most likely be back in future. "

"Lovely little cottage next to the woodland. The owners were really welcoming and the cottage was fully equipped and really clean. It was the nicest one we have ever stayed in. This will certainly be our first choice if we come down this way again. "
