Very helpful and friendly hosts Mimi and Arthur. Nice woodland walks from the doorstep, would happily return if in the area again."

Very comfortable and would stay there again. Brilliantly positioned close to the Wye, ice cream van, coffee shop, playing fields, Cathedral and town!"

"There's no doubt that The Boat Inn is a lovely, traditional pub in a super location, right on the banks of the Wye with good views of the river from the bedrooms above the pub. The surroundings are wooded and distinctly bosky, which is nice. There is a small village (Redbrook) with a village shop a few hundred metres away across an old railway bridge. The Boat serves excellent food, but only on certain days - Thursday to Sunday, from memory. BUT beware of the journey there, from the main roads:...

"Nice secure spot up a lane away from the road so happy leaving mountain bikes overnight.Small but really nice layout with great shower and kitchenette area. Bed was too small in both directions (I'm 6ft tall) and sofa bed very uncomfortable for my son, so none of us slept very well.Nice garden and dog friendly.Would definitely book again but only if the bed situation is improved"

Walkable to a very good local, friendly pub (The Chainbridge Inn) (0.9 mile) and even closer to a nearby restaurant. The hosts were welcoming and provided an easy contactless check in. Excellent."
