The mattress and bed frame seem very old, and the old foam mattress topper just makes it worse. Nestled into the woods beside the Betsie River, this place is a 10/10! The owner is very quick communicating and was great to work with as well! We will be back this summer to do some kayaking!"

"Perfect location, house and property. Will be back. One of the cleanest VRBOs I have rented for its size. Kitchen has more utensils, pots and pans then a Homegoods store. If visiting in the winter heed the instructions and park at top, if you do not have 4 wheel drive and snow tires you may not make it back up the hill. "

"We absolutely loved the house! So relaxing! So many nice amenities! Enjoyed the hot tub several times! Loved the digital pinball! Loved the mini arcade as well (especially Circus Charlie)!! Our little doggie had a blast! The kids love the loft and they wiped me out in blackjack at the poker table!! We made so many great memories!"

"Stayed here as a convenient option to ski at Caberfae and we were delighted by the place. It is utilitarian with its space and yet it feels spacious. We could easily eat our simple meals and watch TV. It stayed warm in the winter and even with snow on the ground was easy to navigate to. Although it was cold outside, the cabin was warm and cozy. Taking a hot shower after an outing was very relaxing. We enjoyed going to Manistee which is only 20 minutes away. "
