"My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We weren’t able to enjoy the exterior with the heavy snow, but the inside was super cozy. We were plenty warm. An easy distance from Crystal Mountain Resort, and not too far from other towns if you are looking for restaurants, gas, groceries, etc. The owners were also super responsive. My wife and I would definitely stay here again."

"Perfect location, house and property. Will be back. One of the cleanest VRBOs I have rented for its size. Kitchen has more utensils, pots and pans then a Homegoods store. If visiting in the winter heed the instructions and park at top, if you do not have 4 wheel drive and snow tires you may not make it back up the hill. "

Our older kids were able to walk to/from the Buck lift, though we typically drove as the walk is a little long carrying gear. We would stay here again! "

"This cabin was the perfect getaway! Shocking amount of stuff to do just minutes away. Clean and cozy. Hot tub and bonfire pit offered such a relaxing end to the evening. Thompsonville has great dining too. We visited iron fish distillery for a tasting and a snack. The food was AMAZING. We also explored crystal mountain to dine for dinner as well as took the 10 minute drive to Benzonia to shop and check out the new casino "

"We had such a delightful time at this cabin just a couple of minutes from the slopes at Caberfae for closing weekend. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and cozy up for the week. We were also only 30ish mins from crystal for the weekdays. The beds were super comfy and we had a wonderful time. Dory was super fair and a great communicator throughout our stay. We can’t wait to come back!"

"We enjoyed the property it has plenty of room for me and my friends. The river had salmon hanging out at the dock and that's would I was there to do fish for salmon so it was nice to go right out to the dock to fish."

"Our family group of 10 stayed in the Northern Nest for a trip skiing at Crystal Mountain, which is about 12 minutes away. The home is very nice and well laid out for our group size. Nestled into the woods beside the Betsie River, this place is a 10/10! The owner is very quick communicating and was great to work with as well! We will be back this summer to do some kayaking!"

"We stayed here so we could have easy access to the snowmobile trails. The property is in the perfect location for that and there are towns that are still close enough for convenience. "We love staying at Paula's Northern Michigan Retreat! Paula is very responsive no matter how or when we contact her - her support and help is invaluable. The home setting is beautiful, with abundant wildlife and lovely property with trails to walk.
