We recently enjoyed a wonderful weekend at a cozy cabin in the woods while attending the Dickens Christmas weekend festivities in Wellsboro, and it was truly a fantastic experience! While the cabin wasn’t decorated for the holidays, it was beautifully appointed, perfectly capturing the charm of a rustic retreat. Our group of three friends gathered to spend quality time together, and we loved exploring all the delightful activities that the quaint town of Wellsboro has to offer, just a short 15-minute drive away. We attended the Dickens Christmas weekend in town for the first time. The cabin provided a comfortable and inviting space for us to relax, make hot cocoa, and watch Hallmark Christmas movies while we wrapped presents for our favorite people. This was probably one of my favorite rental properties! Our family and also our friend group stay at short-term rentals a few times a year, and this cabin ranks in my top three. It was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like extra toothbrushes, soft towels, and cozy sheets that enhanced our stay. The spacious layout allowed us to unwind and connect, while the privacy of the cabin made it feel like our own little escape. It was cold outside, but inside was always warm and inviting. I highly recommend this lovely cabin to anyone looking to explore the Wellsboro area. It truly made our weekend memorable!"

"Classic old charm....and I mean lots and loads of charm. Decent free breakfast and on site dinning. In center of village so walking about is a must. We visited to view the stars at Cherry Springs which is 45 minutes away. The rooms are small compared to most hotels and our bed was a bit soft for me but just right for my partner. I will gladly take a smaller room just to stay at this hotel. The staff is soo friendly and helpful for directions and recommendations. Place gets a 10 ."
