"We stayed here at Penn Wells Lodge in the past to visit family and we really like the hotel. It fits our needs, its very clean and convenient, One thing we would like is to have a table or end table on the other side of the Queen bed next to the chair with a brighter light to read and to place your laptop on table with an outlet to plug in. (Pics of the hotel room had the table in between the 2 chairs?) There were 2 chairs with no table in between and lights were all dim except for the bath and entryway. Overall still nice place and i woild recommend."

"Recently returned from a wonderful stay at Sky High Chalet. Not sure what we can add that hasn't been said before. Gorgeous home. Beautiful surroundings. Epic views. This is a 5-star property by any measure. We're grateful for the opportunity to have enjoyed this incredible space. "Nice place and clean."

"We chose Canyon Motel for it's proximity to the Wellsboro main street and affordability of amenities, and we were not disappointed. We were able to relax in the Jacuzzi in our room after a long day of hiking and walking, or take in some heat in the sauna which was located in the pool area. The pool was heated, but not too warm and not overly chlorinated, which we have found to be a problem in most hotels/motels. Speaking of problems in other hotels, there were a few small details that made a huge difference to us. There were plenty of towels for our 3 day stay, including pool towels. Also, it's always bothered us how small the trash cans in other hotels can be; the trash cans in our room were bigger than most other places we've stayed and had liners in them. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to worry about overflowing the trash bin during a 3 night stay? The only small complaint we had was the Do Not Disturb card to hang on the door was very light and easily turned to Room Service Requested by accident. Our last morning there was interrupted by room service because of that. It wasn't a big deal, just something to think about. All in all, we will be recommending Canyon Motel to friends and family."
