This is a 5-star property by any measure. We're grateful for the opportunity to have enjoyed this incredible space. "We chose Canyon Motel for it's proximity to the Wellsboro main street and affordability of amenities, and we were not disappointed. We were able to relax in the Jacuzzi in our room after a long day of hiking and walking, or take in some heat in the sauna which was located in the pool area. The pool was heated, but not too warm and not overly chlorinated, which we have found to be a problem in most hotels/motels. Speaking of problems in other hotels, there were a few small details that made a huge difference to us. There were plenty of towels for our 3 day stay, including pool towels. Also, it's always bothered us how small the trash cans in other hotels can be; the trash cans in our room were bigger than most other places we've stayed and had liners in them. Do you know how refreshing it is to not have to worry about overflowing the trash bin during a 3 night stay? The only small complaint we had was the Do Not Disturb card to hang on the door was very light and easily turned to Room Service Requested by accident. Our last morning there was interrupted by room service because of that. It wasn't a big deal, just something to think about. All in all, we will be recommending Canyon Motel to friends and family."

"My two friends and I had a lovely weekend at this quaint and cozy guest house. It is within a quick and easy walk (even in sub-freezing temperatures) to interesting and fun downtown restaurant, art and shopping venues and an easy drive to hiking at the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. The residence itself is very clean and well furnished for cooking and relaxing, and our host was available for questions before and during our trip. We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this lovely spot for a weekend away! "

"This cabin was so clean. It was wonderful. Located on the main highway, however we never noticed any traffic noise. We were even out in the backyard with a fire. The location to the Rail Trail and Pine Creek was literally a walk through the yard. The property is very well maintained and very clean. The loft area gets very warm, however if you keep the fans (which are owner provided) on, it really helps to regulate the temperature. We thoroughly enjoyed this Cabin. Make sure to bring your own condiments, spices and storage bags, foil. The pots and pans and silverware and dishes are fine. Salt and Pepper shakers were included as well as dish soap, hand soap. We absolutely loved this cabin and it was located near ALL the parks. We suggest this cabin with 5 stars."
