The day of booking the property the owner called after 9pm to enquire where the payment was to which we explained it was purchased on hotels.com AND that the trip was for my SICK mother. Suffice it to say, if you need a breakaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, you cannot go wrong! "We really enjoyed our stay at Jonquil Cottage. We felt at home straight away finding it very clean and comfortable for our weeks stay. The pretty leafy garden is ideal to sit out in warm weather, providing plenty of shade. The cottage is in an ideal position at a very close walking distance to the main street in Franschhoek.
