"Convenient location with Starbucks a supermarket and many restaurants nearby staff were helpful beds where clean with white bedding in general cleanliness was good bathrooms were new unfortunately showers on upper floors were unusable due to poor water pressure kitchen was not adequate very small with no seating and poor condition Building was generally run down with flaking paint plaster falling off ceiling electrics were scary extension chords bare wires and taped up damaged chords "

"everyone was so friendly and accommodating! maid comes in every day so the place is never gross, staff is really good about keeping the vibes positive and safe!"

"The staff and other guests treated me very warmly and made me feel as though I could ask for help if needed. The resident feline added the extra cosy touch, and having a Lidl on the doorstep is a very convenient and inexpensive alternative to city restaurants."

"Oh, what a wonderful Hostel this is. It is brandnew and everything was just perfect! I loved the interior and details and the staff was superfriendly and welcomming. It is also located in a lovely neighbourhood easy to walk to the city center or with the tram in front of the door."

"It is shared accommodations, and you should pack your own set of bed sheets, blanket cover, and pillow case. Probably better suited to a longer stay. A nice place to meet other travelers. Breakfast was nice. The proprietor is agreeable and welcoming."

"Property is well located for sightseeing and on a busy street with a supermarket and plenty of food options. Staff were friendly enough and bag store was there for keeping luggage safe after checkout etc. It is run down though and if you dont like steep stairs then it's not one to visit (though this can be said of most Amsterdam hotels). "These guys were amazing. The rooms were clean and all amenities in order. What stood out was their exceptional service: we traveled with 3 young children internationally, and the staff were so hospitable and accommodating. "Great location. Walking distance to many sites. Public transportation is right out front for quicker access. Lots of shopping and food choices. Close to the central station but not too close. Nice to have the wine hour before dinner. Hot chocolate in the lobby was nice as well "

"Overall rating, is a 4.5 not a 5! They need phones in the room period!!! I shouldn’t have to get out of my room and take the elevator to speak to reception about towels, heat or etc. it’s really annoying to get out of your room for help or assistance! Other than that , an exceptional hotel to stay! Helen is really helpful at the hotel!! Just keep a phone in the room or a text service on the iPad which is provided in each room!!"
