"I just took a quick weekend to get away from things. The river cabins were well worth it. Nice fire pit outside nice whirlpool outside off the deck nice kitchen bedroom area TV little light up fireplace. It was great very, very relaxing under the stars river in the distance.."

"Great Secluded property. Girlfriend and I took days to get away with meditation, yoga and the occasional wine drinking in Asheville. Close but far from civilization, the lack of light pollution makes the stars come alive while sitting the hot tub. "

"Great stay. Hot water was off but we reached the host and initially used a nearby property to shoeer then ours was fine. The road is very remote and difficult to traverse in rain and bad weather. Overall a great stay."

"This was a great VRBO rental just as described. The host ensured an easy check in, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies, spices, and coffee. There is plenty of seasoned firewood that we used in the outdoor fire pit. The large wrap around porch makes for great relaxing while enjoying the quiet outdoors. The grill, hot tub and appliances all worked well. One suggestion would be to add a ground cover like mulch around the firepit as the ground was pretty soft dirt in the back yard. "

"The bridge to the property has a steep drop off that scraped the bottom of my car. Getting in the lockbox for the key was difficult ,had to go to neighbor for property manager info. due to no wifi at the cabin to use cell phone . No heat in the bathrooms . Would only recommend if these problems was addressed."

"Great little place to stay and close to everything "

"Nice property and house, quiet and private. Clean and welcoming and had everything we needed. The driveway entrance is tricky depending on which way you come from, you have to turn around in someone else’s drive way so you can make the turn into the driveway because of the steepness. Also, we should have researched ahead of time but did not… The town of Marshall was also unfortunately devastated by the flooding so there is not much to do nearby. "
