Wonderful getaway that allows you to forget the world while remaining close enough to things that you can experience the surrounding areas. Apart from a few cars in the drives down the mountain, we were able to forget about others and relax for a wonderful weekend. "

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "

The cabin is between Asheville and Weaverville — a good location, not walkable to much but a short drive to many, many things. (NB: The map on the VRBOlisting showed the wrong location for us; the cabin as actually father north a few miles then what it showed to us. But that was fine for us) "
