"We had a great visit. Hotel hope every weekend and this is one of our favorites. Only thing we were in room 102 by the exit door outside and god we couldn’t sleep because every d**n 10 mins someone was opening the door making it slam and rattle our literally walls and door. This really needs to be fixed some how. "

"I guess they have been doing some renovations because lot of new paint on trims and caulking on joints. Paint was flaking off, in spots and caulking was not great. Bathroom vents needed cleaning and the pipe, for shower head, that goes into wall was not even close to hand tight. Couldn't move shower head w/o fear of pipe coming out. Fridge good and cold. Microwave clean and functional. TV more than adequate but not a smart TV, so bring your own smart box. AC functions but don't expect artic air....

"Beautiful Victorian, our room was was exactly like the photos on line, comfortable bed. Sadly the property is for sale and there is some deferred maintenance such as burned out light bulbs, vent switch not working. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was wonderful. The hotel is clean, friendly, only 11 miles from Granbury and was almost half the price of many of the hotels right in Granbury. Would recommend any time - will definitely stay there again."
