"My boyfriend and I came here for a pre-Valentine’s day getaway and had the best time. The plan was to go skiing one day and to the casino the next. We had such an amazing time here though that we skipped the skiing! My boyfriend built us a bonfire one night and we watched the Super Bowl the next night while listening to the waterfall. I’ve never been to North Carolina before but staying here definitely made it one of my favorite trips ever! "

"We stayed here when it was owned by another person and really enjoyed the stay. This time we got there and one of the TV's was missing, a call to the manager got that resolved quickly but the person that put it in said we had to use our ROKU account to use the TV. The TV in the bedroom was already set-up with ROKU so not sure why we had to log on. One of the bedside lamps had no bulb, mentioned that but it wasn't resolved. Lamp in the living room went on and off on it's own, mentioned but...

"My stay at Bearcat was nice and cozy. She is an older gal with a lot of personality. Owner was very nice and communication was easy. "

"Small but adequate need yo disclose bathrooms are not accessible for people with limited mobility for showering no grab bars only tub shower combination access to home otherwise great for someone with mobility issue. Home is not listed as handicap accessible but driveway and home entrance was great for my 80yo mom"
