"Absolutely amazing atmosphere with all the fires lit in every room. Amazing history and almost like a film set. Really busy at Sunday lunch but thats because the food is really good. We had a small apartment which seemed to be brand new. Huge comfy bed so had the best night sleep!"

"I loved this property. Angela, the owner, was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. I loved that it was a farm and enjoyed the drive back and forward each day. One day we were stopped as a dog got all the sheep into one little area. It is not far away from where we wanted to be and we went to Beatrix Potter Hilltop house and the attraction. As well as House on the bridge and the famous gingerbread place at Gracemere. "
