"Smack dab between Heber and Park City, very different little towns with some good restaurants and shops. The area is going to be a nice resort someday, but the current construction ruins the vibe just a little. This stay was full of thoughtful touches—the room was nice, the staff were very friendly, and the "high hot chocolate experience" was a lot of fun! The pool area was very nice, and we really enjoyed all the outdoor seating with warm fire. (A s'mores bar nearby would've been fun too!) It was a little hard to find information about parking online, so we weren't sure what to expect, but it's valet-only, at $50 or $60 a night depending on your vehicle's size. You can ski right out of the resort and come back to food and hot cocoa and rest, which seems really nice. If I'm ever skiing in the area, I'll definitely come back! "

"The Stein Eriksen is the gold standard for ski hotels imho. Every single detail is thoughtful and elegant. We come for an annual family trip and will never stay anywhere else. This year, we had an issue upon checkin. The manager, Josh, resolved it for us quickly and with no stress. He was so kind and gave us a quick walk around the property that turned our day around instantly. He’s amazing and SEL is the best. "

"Location and access were great. Hotel was clean and very quiet during our stay. Breakfast was not included but was reasonably priced- unfortunately the food was not good. Do not recommend breakfast but the hotel itself was great."

"The hotel and the area are amazing the rooms are nice and clean the first rooms hot tub didn’t work they made it right immediately and switched us rooms with a better view nice coffee shops and restaurants and shops near by overall very impressed came for my girlfriends birthday I’ll be coming back as long as the rooms don’t get to expensive "

When we had an issue, the front desk staff went well above and beyond to provide that white glove service that has been lost in this industry.
