"Thank you Helen and Andrew for meeting us and having a chat. Helen also showed us around the property and suggested a walking trail, which we did the following day and had a great view. We are 2 sisters who go for a short break for each other’s birthday. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and was definitely value for money. Well maintained, spotlessly clean and with a fresh bathroom, the cottage had everything we needed. The comfortable beds and soft, cosy sheets deserve an extra mention! Secluded and peaceful location was just what we wanted and we went gold panning in the river beside the property. The visitors’ book showed just how popular this cottage is! "

"Just a last minute overnight stay but so relaxing and quiet! And what a peaceful view overlooking the surrounding farm land. Hosts extremely helpful and friendly and room very generous, tidy and clean. Comfy bed and ample breakfast. "

"Great place to stay. It’s just a little out of Wangaratta. The put on a light breakfast which is great. The only negative is the cabins are very cold. Had to run the split system all night on 26 to keep warm. "

"From the moment we checked in until the time we left, everything was surprisingly almost perfect!!! The warm and friendly welcome received from Serena at check-in was much appreciated after receiving a 'not so warmly greeting' at our previous B&B accommodation. Thank you, Serena! Room - Spotlessly clean and quiet! Amenities - The bathrobe, body wash, shampoo, conditioner and soap provided were all of a high quality! Bed & Bed Linen - The bed was very comfortable for us and the bed linen was also of very good quantity. In Room Mini Bar & Snacks - A great variety provided and, once again, good brands supplied. Reading materials, i.e. Travel magazine and other informative brochures and magazines were also provided. Ironing board, iron, hair dryer, kettle, luggage rest and a small, but decent fridge, was standard inclusion in all rooms. PS - Fridge being larger than the average tiny bar fridge provided in all hotels. A surprising and much appreciated inclusion was a 'Martini package', including a Stainless steel shaker, martini glasses, alcohol and mixers for a night of entertainment! Overall, service was impeccable! An extra special thanks to Serena and Lydia for making our one night stay there a most memorable one. Your friendly, obliging and attentative qualities were certainly noticed and much appreciated! You are both an asset to The Lancemore Hotel! We look forward to returning there soon for a much longer stay of pampering! Restaurant - 5/5 Delectable!!! "
