Such a calming atmosphere, staff were exceptional and the facilities felt luxurious. Beautiful hotel on wonderful grounds unfortunately marred by an average restaurant charging high prices. Only options are 2 or 3 courses, and of the numerous things we tasted the food was dry, bland and even the poached eggs were cooked right through. This wouldn’t be that big of a deal if there was plenty of other food around, but it’s a tiny town with very limited options. Fix that and it’s a wonderful place.
