You hear a lot of noise from other people, you could hear alot of footsteps, using the bathroom, coughing etc. Not that people were noisy you just heard alot of noise through the walls. So if your going in a lovey sexy weekend, it might not be the place for you,or maybe it is."

"This elegant historical hotel was a great choice in Rotorua. We especially enjoyed the friendly and helpful staff, the excellent dinner at Duke’s Restaurant, and the wonderful hot pools on site. With such great, private pools, you really don’t have to pay for others. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed walking the nearby beach boardwalk and gardens. Free parking is offered but can be a bit hard to secure during the day. But by evening, there was ample to choose from."

Disappointed that the restaurant wasn’t open as it is still in the process of being approved by the council. The nearby cafes make up for it. Perfect place to stay as it is only 15 minutes away from the Redwood Forest and 20 to 30 minutes away from the geothermal sites south of Rotorua. "
