"A neat, clean property in a location very handy to central Whanganui. It suited our group well although it was very difficult to cook for 6 using the small pots - we borrowed some from a friend. Arrived to find someone had jumped the fence and fairly well stripped the lemon tree before we moved him on. "This is our 3rd time to stay at the Dunes, the spa pool and views are amazing. However the plumbing is needing some attention. We wondered why there was a plunger beside the toilet and the kitchen taps are a bit tired. But it was still an enjoyable stay and we couldn't fault the cleanliness"

We stayed five days and still didn't finish checking out all of the fascinating collection of books, records, pictures, ornaments and other miscellanea with which the house is filled. "Beautiful place with lots of additional extra touches including some baked goodies on the bench. It was nice to read how the villa had been renovated by the family. The host was very friendly and welcoming with her messages. We very much enjoyed out stay thank you"

"We enjoyed our stay thank you, I thought I’d broken a cupboard then found a note saying it was broken awaiting repair, my man fixed it. Do be aware the bathroom tiles are so slippery, there’s is a note however it needs to be more visible or something more on floor to prevent slipping. It’s a well presented property. Nice and clean. Thank you. "

"Was an awesome stay, great location close to park and beach for the kids, comes complimentary with milk and bread which is awesome,was a cozy comfortable unit, plenty of things for family entertainment eg. board games, cards etc Also cool thing is can hang flags up outside, highly recommend to stay when in whanganui, thanks for being a good host Carol, will be back again Pere Whanau"

"On Leaving the property after a 3 day stay, All 3 Adults rated it as 8 out of 10. The Location was great,the Batch Feel Fantastic, the view superb, the layout great ( all 3 of us could have our Own Area) to relax, BOTH inside & Out. Air Con coped well with 32C . The Cooking, Fridge washing Machine & Clothes line great. Parking Great , we could turn the car to drive out forwards.
