We booked this last minute when we checked out of another awful hotel in Tongariro. This was blissful in comparison. Spacious, clean and very comfortable. A 20 minute walk down to the riverside, we found this charming artistic community just lovely. It is just off the main road, but traffic noise was definitely not an issue for us.
