"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"We had an amazing time staying at the water tower for two nights! Such a quaint quiet neighborhood. The location was great for us to venture to Belgium one day and up to Cologne on the second. So many details to list - fresh eggs from the chickens who live on the property, a stunning garden and the most pleasant hosts."

"We enjoyed our stay there. Was convenient to shops/restaurants and public transport. Clean and had everything we needed. Like other apartment locations, you can occasionally hear other residents opening/closing doors and talking, sometimes during the night, but we generally slept well - one of us on sofa and the other up in the loft. Internet was mostly reliable. Would stay there again.."

"Lovely sized property, plenty of room for a small family. It has all the basics you need with comfy beds, which is important! On arrival it was obviously cleaned and looked after. Perfect location close to transport and restaurants without being too noisy. It was warm in the bedrooms but fans were provided. They were needed. We liked the decor in the apartment and there was ample storage for a week. Only thing i would add is some international apps on the tv. Netflix or prime would have been...

"Friendly and helpful host. Easy to check in and out. A lovely, quiet place within 25 minute walk of Phantasialand. Silvia was very friendly and the house was absolutely perfect for our needs. If we come back to Phantasialand we will definitely stay again. It truly felt like a home from home, with some lovely thoughtful extras."

"Great communication and the host representative, Hasan, was the best feature! He explained everything in broken English, which was far better than my nonexistent German or Turkish. We 2 guests got exactly 2 small towels. 1 roll of paper towels for kitchen. 3 rolls of toilet paper. The blow dryer cord was damaged and it kept cutting in and out. The clothes washer worked fine, the dryer did not work at all. It warmed the clothes I ended up hanging them up and they were dry after two days, but this...

"We had a fantastic holiday at this lovely accommodation. We had everything we need and the property was nice and clean. It was very handy for any shops we needed. In the immediate vicinity it was very quiet and peaceful and very handy for walks, cycle rides and hiking direct from the house. Visiting Cologne and Bonn was very easy and they are great places to visit. The hosts were very friendly and easy to contact if needed. "This was my first time to Cologne and this apartment was absolutely amazing. Located in what I would say was the most beautiful part of Cologne, it is quiet and located close to the Rhein, supermarkets, restaurants, transit. It was very easy to get to where I wanted to go from this location. The host was also incredible and was quick to answer any questions I had and fix any issues. It was absolutely perfect for my 5 week stay and I would definitely stay here again when I return."

"This was a lovely comfortable ground floor apartment, the hosts were very nice and helpful. Sadly we found, the location not really ideal for us. The apartment would be very difficult to reach when you have a lot of snow. Also when going to other towns nearby such as Waldbrol, Whiel, Numbrecht, Gummersbach etc it was a bit difficult to navigate without a sat-nav, took the whole fortnight to get used to our surroundings and find our way back home without getting lost, after visiting any of these...

Het appartement is echt volledig in orde, heel goed verzorgd en voorzien van alle gemakken (incl. airconditioning). De gastvrouw is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Onze hond (labrador) was ook heel welkom, bij het buitenkomen beneden was er voldoende gras voor hem (men komt niet uit in een straat). "Overall, excellent place to stay. My room was spacious and was as advertised. The receptionist was very kind and allowed my Mom to check out later as I was still in my conference until 3PM. It is about 10-15 min walk to/from Bonn UN Campus train station. I took off a point because the room did not have kleenex, bar soap, and the bathroom door is a barn sliding door that didn’t really close nor provide much privacy (no lock, see through, no soundproofing). "
