"Hotel in the jungle with a rustic charm. Room was good with a comfortable bed. Lots of ants in the room initially but I suppose being in the jungle that’s to be expected! "This was one of the most friendly hotels that we have stayed in for a long time. All of the staff seem to have a genuine interest in making sure that we had a good time and made the most of our stay in Sigiriya. They also organised a couple of trips for us - to Polonnarua and an elephant safari. The first of these was a fascinating day visiting a former capital of Sri Lanka and the second was an afternoon seeing more than a dozen different herds of elephants, some of them just a few metres away...
