"If you are visiting the Big Island, look no further than the western on Hapuna Beach! This resort is beaming with luxury, but also offers a beachy vibe and many spaces to escape to on the property. The food at Meridia is absolutely incredible and it is the best restaurant on the island as far as food and views! The bed in the room is like sleeping on a cloud, And the bathrooms are exquisite, equipped with dual sinks, a bathtub and a glass walk-in shower. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and received a complementary bottle of champagne and a room upgrade, courtesy of our personal concierge at the hotel, Megan! From the moment we walked in, we felt the aloha spirit! Get down to the adult pool no later than 9 AM or else people will hold their chairs and leave for the afternoon. We spent time on the ocean, and the adult pool, ate at all of the restaurants and sat at the Pika open-air bar for after-pool/beach drinks and just watched the ocean. We took the free shuttle to the sister resort, Mauna Kea, ate at the incredible Copper Bar and Hau Tree on the ocean. Manta restaurant looks pretty, but has no view like the others. We went to completely unplugged for six nights, so we did not rent a car, and still had plenty to do at the resort, never missing a drop of its beauty. This will be our permanent go to resort on the big island! Mahalo!!!"

"Had a lovely last-minute stay in the Owl's Nest. We were not able to access the check-in instructions until after we arrived since there is no wifi in the surrounding area. But the in-house wifi -- and Darrin himself -- soon remedied that. As part of the Hasegawa family of Honoka'a, we will no doubt be back and would love to stay here again!"

"Our stay at Catrinka’s hale was stunning. Every morning I couldn’t believe the breeze coming through, and the views and sounds of nature out every window. It’s a quick drive to Waimea coffee company or Hapuna beach! There were many useful odds and ends as far as kitchen, toiletry, and beach items. Tape and scissors! We swapped pillows for the ones in the closet that were more like ours at home. Any time I needed something I was able to find it, if I wasn’t I knew Catrinka was a phone call away.
