"Lesley's attention to detail is everywhere. In the comfort bedding, the soft fabrics, the beautiful tile and clever workmanship in the room, the soft scent of clean in there. The gardens and blooms are well tended also in this wonderful location. The fresh farm house breakfast overlooking the pool & mountains was joyful. I liked the company of Mickey and Nutella, two well behaved pooches who lay by my feet & smiled. ( I swear they did). And what's not to smile about here where the veggies grow...

"The house is an absolutely stunning location. Breath taking views every morning, even if the weather did always play ball. There are some lovely areas to walk in and explore nearby and a few very nice local restaurants but these can get booked up very quickly. Even when it was raining we enjoyed our stay as the dense forests provided plenty of cover and there are excellent trips to caves and nearby cities such as Lucca and Barga that are easy drives.
