"This is a castle on a hill! Real one. No plywood or 2x4s. Lots of history. Enormous rooms. Enormous bathroom. Phenomenal breakfast. Friendly staff. Parking is limited by the entrance, but plenty below the castle. One downside is that the bathroom is not in the rooms. Not a big deal if you don’t mind putting on a robe (which is included) to go to the bathroom at night.. There are 2 roads getting to it. The upper, longer one and the lower one. Fantastic all round

"We had a fantastic stay here, service 1st class all round, food excellent (we were half board), free afternoon cakes were absolutely delicious, sauna suite brilliant. Our waiter Hr Ferenc was amazing. Maybe issue guest card on arrival without having to ask for it would be good. The free local buses and train were excellent for getting to and from our walks which were thoroughly enjoyable. All in all a wonderful weeks break, thank you. "

Great location, good hotel

"Amazing location - don't even have to cross the street to get to hotel from the train and bus station, yet the neighborhood is still nice. Staff was courteous, room was clean. Only knock is that bed could have been a little more comfortable. Coverings was a duvet, which so many hotels are using now."
