"The place is kind of charming because it’s all made of bamboo. However, the view of our bungalow was on the sewer so we didnt spend much time on the balcony. Also, the shower drain was blocked. You know how fun that can be!! Other then that, bed is huge and comfy and staff is helpful."

The staff was always super helpful and I’ve got nothing but great things to say about our experience here. Breakfast was pretty good too! "It was our first time staying in a Homestay. So it takes some time getting used to not having all the facilities. The family is very nice and helpful. A little bit more care can be given to cleanliness, better breakfast options. The location is excellent and the ease of having Lys arrange reasonable tours and travel arrangements is unparalleled."

"Good location, but quiet. Friendly staff, laundry service available. Large room, Comfortable bed. Working Aircon, hot water but this runs out fast. Room had a strong air freshener smell when we arrived which we had to air out. Otherwise excellent value for money. "

"The hosts were so gracious and warm and welcoming. Along with the view of the karst mountains those were the highlights. The facilities are very rustic so we had 2 frogs hop into our room, which adds to the charm. "

"The Serene family were just gorgeous. They spoke good English and would help you any way they could. The breakfast was great with lots of choice. My ONE piece of advice would be: if you have a bungalow next to the breakfast area , then ask to be moved somewhere quieter. "

"This hotel is worth 2.5 stars at most. Our generous evaluation is 4/10. 1- Reception desk did not have my reservation already paid with Hotels.com. They had to take picture (with their phone) of files in my phone. They had rooms available so they asked that I pay upfront. I insisted that they check with whomever responsible. A few hours later things were settled. 2- They did not know that my reservation was for 3 days so each day the room key was deactivated, I cannot get into my room and had to...

"I had very pleasant stay. Excellent service, very friendly and helpful staff - engaged with guests to get to know them and make them feel like home. Breakfast buffet was good, got free bikes to ride around - some of the bikes probably unsafe and needed of service/replacement. Overall, I am very happy with it."

"Lovely hotel set in the most incredible scenery around a small lake. Blue is the most energetic and helpful human being in Ninh Binh and will constantly be trying to sort stuff for you. It's a little more secluded and it's nice as it gets you away from the busyness of Tam Coc and the main tourist areas. "

Wonderful stay

"Very comfortable hotel with charming rooms and grounds. Breakfast(extra for us) was delicious we ordered from the hotel the entire stay Hotel is just around the bend from the busier Tam Coc restaurant/hotel zone, which gave us quieter evenings The hotel manager is amazing very energetic friendly and can’t do enough for you I highly recommend this hotel"
