"The chalet was clean and comfortable with all required amenities. There was plenty of seating outside in both the shade and the sun and it’s own tucked away car parking space. There was a washing machine, bikes, kayak and table tennis available on site which was quiet and tucked away over a little bridge from the village road. The village itself was beautiful with a canal running through it, two restaurants (need to book at the weekend) and a bus into Leiden. It was an easy drive from Amsterdam...

"We very much enjoyed staying at this property. It was in a nice area around a lot of coffee shops, restaurants and pubs. It was also closely situated to the Zoo and the University in a neighborhood of locals. This gave it a nice mix of energy while we were walking around. We could easily walk to Centraal Station, Rembrandt Square, and all of the major museums. There is a light rail stop one block away, which we also appreciated. "

"Property was perfect for our situation. Not in the crazy or expensive city center but close enough to grab transportation to it fairly easily. (Someone could have warned us it was King’s Day - crazy party beyond belief- while we were there but that’s not on the property). Would definitely stay again as it had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge) and anything else we wanted was close by. No noise at all from any other units or hallways. The location was near the tram stops, had a "neighborhood bar" just a couple buildings away, great food spots right by the rental, etc. Everything we needed was included, like tea pots, coffee pots, dishes, wine glasses, etc. Since the flat is on the top floor, we had to climb 3 flights each time we went out, but again, the staircase just added authentic Amsterdam to our stay!
