"I wasn’t happy that there wasn’t too much leniency on early or late check ins or check outs. Most other hotels I have used in the past have allowed checkins as early as 2am day of as well as 2pm for check outs. This includes Hilton, Marriott and best western. The diamond resort was just purchased by Hilton so hopefully in the future they will be lenient for request from guest. "The property itself is in desperate need of updates and renovations particularly in the rooms. Other than that, the staff was friendly, location was perfect and the courtyard with the pools was super convenient and easily accessible. "

"My husband, his parents and our 2 year old stayed at the Carriage House again for the second time and as usual, it was a wonderful stay! Everything is in great condition, love having separate AC in each room so everyone could be in a temp they prefer, and beautiful grounds to walk. We love staying here and plan to continue to any time we visit the area. Tyler and Kate are wonderful hosts!"

"First time at Virginia Beach. Probably won’t stay at Turtle Cay resort again. The card reader to enter premise was not operable for almost two days meaning anyone could enter the facility. We called for washcloths three times and had to go buy our own because laundry wasn’t available. Dirthy dishes were left in the dishwasher when we arrived to our room. We also had to call for all new bedding also do to cleanliness."
