"This is our second stay here at this place. Our room conditions were not quite as nice as the first stay. Room 1702 had tape over the smoke detector and the fan from the air conditioning was very loud. The hotel did fix those issues after we told them about. The room has definitely seen some wear which could be addressed easily. The breakfast could have a little variety but it wasn’t bad."

"Honestly - I reserved this hotel based on other's review - the experience was exactly that and more. Christopher, the front Desk girl, and Suresh were all lovely. The decorum had its own personality, unlike commercial hotels - so kept it interesting. The room and hotel space around was immaculate and clean. I couldnt believe how so much detail was put into the room's amenities to ensure we were comfortable - that too at such an affordable rate and ideal location. The shopping strip and access to other arrondissament was convenient to get to. No matter what the request was - they were genuine and accomodating. Also - if you do end up adding the breakfast - there was really lots of variety and delish food. Would definitely come back."

"OKKO Gare de L’est is a beautiful property nestled between Gare de Nord and Gare de L’Est train stations. Steps away from the Metro, the gym and club offerings were excellent. The snacks and drinks that were available throughout the day, made a late day return from exploring, refreshing. We regret not using the sauna, but plan to return in the future. The room was perfect, and beautifully laid out and maintained. "

"Excellent property, albeit small (but well appointed) rooms. Balcony was a real plus, as was 24-hour access to coffee and a really nice breakfast buffet the swimming pool and sauna in the basement are also really good amenity. Super well located in an excellent neighborhood, one of the oldest covered passages in Paris is right next door with lots of charming restaurants and cafes."
