"One night stay for business. Hotel was really nice in a quaint medieval walled city. Town square full of interesting buildings & bars. Staff were friendly & helpful. breakfast was continental & plentiful. Only one problem, when I went to eat in the restaurant on the Monday evening it was closed. Town square had gone to sleep as well. I walked towards the town wall & found a gem "Ristorante Pizzeria Palio"."

When we arrived we were told there had been a mixup and we would have to move temporarily to what was admittedly a better room which we did. "We had a very pleasant stay here. The room was very large with a very spacious bathroom. Everything was extremely clean and very well appointed. We received a friendly welcome even with a major language barrier. We were encouraged to have our evening meal in their restaurant - what a treat it was! Excellent local food, plentiful and well priced. Breakfast was included in our room rate - it was very good! Overall we would recommend this place, perfect for a few nights to explore the local area...

"5 girlfriends stayed for a week and it was fabulous ~ We were greeted with a tray of cannelloni’s on the dining room table! The house was clean and spacious. A very quiet country location. We each had our own bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes though it could use more dish towels and some hot pads/oven mitts. It was nice to have a washing machine and clothes line.
