"Property was great. Clean, quiet and 20 mins from Gran Via. Downsides were 1)bed comfort, not comfortable at all because one could feel bed springs, 2) the one time room was cleaned (by choice), the sheets were not changed, and lastly 3) air conditioning was turned off by hotel maintenance due to weather being cold outside. "We love this hotel and have been here many times. It’s simple in terms of decor. Our bed this time (rm 403) was the most comfortable we’ve had. It’s a small room, not for too tall people as an alcove. Best location, super staff, lovely bar and outdoor seating, less than a minute to the Monastery and all the best restaurants."
