"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The most positive aspects are the outdoor spaces with the massive pool, incredible view and the patio area. Inside, apart from the disappointing kitchen, the rooms are of a very good size and are nicely decorated with each having a slightly different personality. The place could do with a bit of maintenance like lights that don't work, shower hoses that leak etc, which did take the shine off a little bit. "This is a charming villa set in a hilly enclave just north of El Campello. We chose NOT to rent a car - so we stayed local (from Alicante to Villajoysa is easy/cheap to do by tram). The tram stop (and local wine/grocery merchant) is an easy 10 minute walk - take a backpack and its easy to do your shopping and be back at the villa.
