"I chose this location because it was close to where I needed to be. This is an apartment converted into a B&B. It’s great inside but the surrounding residential area has little to offer. It works best if you’re driving through and need a place to stay (and park). To its credit once inside it very comfortable and thoughtfully appointed. The rating badges are prominently on display. "It was more like a hostel, but was clean. It was hard to figure out how to get there and using the shower was kind of complicated. I had to ask for a cot, even though I asked them for double beds before I got there. Decent nights sleep."

"Great location . We had a little problem with our first room and we moved room. Second room was huge but didn’t have a window. We were only there a few nights so we were ok with this. Really appreciated having a late checkout. I would stay again. "

"We really enjoyed our stay here at cavalieris grand! The electronic locks were a little odd at first (unlocking the main door with your code will then unlock your room door as well) but we picked it up quickly. I can see more traditional travellers finding this a little troublesome though. They ask you to pay with credit card by sending your drains through WhatsApp. They didn’t even know I was supposed to be there, put me into a different room and demanded more payment due to their own mistakes. "Lovely property in walking distance of the centre. The property is in excellent condition and the gentle on reception was very friendly and helpful. We were only here 24 hours but would definitely book again. Motorcycles can be parked on the road out front."

"It was a single unit flat which we liked. It was absolutely good for privacy and quietness. The space inside the flat was very well organised, but small. It is close to the city, but at the same time quite and far from concrete and buildings. It was a pleasant stay, and with the good weather, in spring or summer it should be amazing! We staid in late October and it was rainy, so couldn’t enjoy the full potential of the property. "

"Residenza Ariosto is an excellent place to stay in Bologna. The apartment is not luxurious but is clean ,comfortable and has everything you need. The apartments in via Marsala are in a great position to explore and enjoy Bologna. Instructions for check in are clear. This is our second stay and we highly recommend."

"PROs: The room was well-located and had good upkeep. The breakfast was expansive and of great quality. The bed was comfy and the bathroom had nice water pressure. CONS: uninspired dinner menu. The room could have used a kettle for tea. The tub needs upkeep. Like the speaker in the bathroom but no volume control, speaker had too much static. Prefer glassware to plastic cups. The style needs updating."

"We loved the Social Hub in Bologna! The staff is very kind and its very close to the station, so it was easy for us to take day trips around the surrounding area. I could stay longer. It is also a student accommodation, but since we were on the third floor, we didn’t really hear students"
