"I got really lost finding the right bus and Giacomo was really helpful and eventually came to pick me up in his car, which was fabulous as I was tired and with a big bag. The house is a lovely old house and the room was clean and perfect with an ensuite. Giacomo gave me information about where to go to eat and I went to Leo’s nearby where they cut slices of pizza at whatever size you like which is a great idea. "It was kind of hard to find initially. There is no parking close by, but that is pretty typical for most places in Italy. The owner was friendly and helpful. The stay was nice and clean. "A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. "The location of this property is amazing, although a little difficult to find if you're using Google Maps. As its on the opposite side and end of the lane than shown. My host for the stay, Franca, has been lovely and offered some great suggestions of things to see/do on arrival. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, however I found the bedding and pillows particularly uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all, which is understandable given the age of the building....

Step back in time in this friendly hotel.

"Fantastic location, close to main points of interest. Tower maybe 15mins and restaurants, churches, shops all close by. Try the Bombolini in Piazza Garibaldi ;). Hotel was very friendly and an interesting/ characterful environment. Staff were all great and breakfast was good. We had a river view room which had plenty of space and a lovely outlook."

Great time in Pisa

"We booked the Hotel as it was right next to the Tower and looked lovely. We did notice the separate building listed on the reservation but assumed this was in a building next door. There was no indication (or we didn’t pick up) this was a 5 min walk down the road and the other building is part of a residential block of flats. Not ideal as we felt a little disconnected but the room was lovely. Loads of space for the 5 of us and was really clean. Great little coffee machine and fridge in the room. Had a great time in Pisa. "

"It was a last minute decision to go to Pisa. Having never been there before, I just picked the closest available property. This was great small off street parking area, but conveniently located with 3 minute walk to the leaning Tower.the breakfast was good, but get an early time, as the selection was less at 9:00. Everyone was helpful and friendly."

"In front of the tower. A Unique experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. However, the real highlight was the breathtaking view from the window—waking up to such a stunning panorama was simply magical.
