"The tour around the town is really interesting, if you get the opportunity to do the private tour I’d highly recommend it, we even went into backyards to check on the almonds drying, and picked figs off the tree to eat. So relaxing and quiet. Dinner and breakfast in the Restaurant was delicious and the service brilliant, The apartment has subdued lighting which fits with the room but might not be enough for everyone, we would stay here again if in the area."

"If you’re visiting the Douro Valley, you need to stay here! Our group of six adults didn’t want to leave. Everything about the property is exceptional. We were greeted with a welcome basket of meats, cheeses, bread and fruit, as well as wine and beer. It was such a thoughtful gesture and perfect after a long drive from Óbidos. "This place is an absolute gem, and our family of four (two adults and kids aged 6 and 8) loved it. The view is fantastic, and there are plenty of outdoor spaces to enjoy it. The home is spacious, clean, and comfortable. We arrived to a stocked fridge which was very appreciated. It was about 40 deg C during our visit and the pool was perfect for cooling off and entertaining the kids. The location was also great - quiet and relaxing but also walkable to town.
