"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"We stayed in the Garden unit for 9 days in mid July. The property is beautiful and Alessandro and his family are wonderful people and great hosts. They were very accommodating to our family by amending the pool hours. The property is perfectly situated to see many great areas around Bologna and all are within about an hours’ drive. "This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and were very helpful and easy to deal with. They left us to it but were on hand if we needed anything"

Unmade bed, dirty towels, etc. We contacted the lady who had checked us in, only to be told that it wasn’t her responsibility to have the apartment cleaned but that she would try to find someone to do that. "What a great spot! It was great to have lots of space for our family ( parents teens 15 and 18). It was under 20 minutes to walk to the Piazza Maggiorre, but nicely quiet at our end of San Felice. Be aware that the nearest parking is not open on weekends, but there are many options. Francesca was lovely and helpful. "

"Great apartment but the building is undergoing some massive renovation and there was a lot of noise during the day and construction scaffolds everywhere. Both balconies in the apartment had scaffolding out front so we couldn’t use them and had to keep the windows closed. The area isn’t great, typical university type vibe. Didn’t feel unsafe at all, but lots of graffiti. If we go back I’d probably choose a place closer to piazza maggiorie. "
