"Used gps on phone easy to find . About 20min outside Bergerac. Host helpful and speaks some English but family email in English so no problem with communication . Modern wooden built house . We stayed in ground floor apartment . There were also more traditional options as well. Lots of modern art and excellent comfort bed . Would recommend. "This was the second time we stayed at gite la grave haute sud and it was just as amazing as the previous time. It’s a great spacious house with a beautiful garden and view. Very calm and private nook in the lovely Dordogne. The location is perfect if you want to discover everything the Dordogne has to offer or even for a day trip to Bordeaux. Felix was as attentive and nice as ever. We definitely want to visit a third time! "

Feels very relaxing and is ideal for seeing the Dordogne area. Owners are lovely and very helpful with suggestions for where to visit. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight. "The house has a fantastic pool and pool area and dining area which we all enjoyed spending a lot of time in. However, the area had a lot of mosquitoes which were problematic at night time. The listing did not say the neighbouring house had two dogs (although very lovely and friendly) which were often in the garden and we had to remove their mess a few times which wasn’t very nice. The wifi did not work throughout the house - only in the living room. We also had a problem with a bat in the attic...

"La p'tite bergerie is a beautiful gite, and has everything you need to make your stay homely and comfortable. It is set in an absolutely lovely area, very peaceful and relaxing, but is ideally located to many other towns, villages and sights this part of the Dordogne has to offer. Beatrice and Remy are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much for them, we really felt a friendship has been formed, so much so that we will be returning in December to enjoy their gite at Christmas time...can't wait!...
