"We stayed a few days in Veracana in the Casa Lady which was our base during our canyoning trip and it was perfect. The house is located in a small village with a magnificent viewpoint, shops nearby and a great pizzeria with a breathtaking view of the lake. "No heat in apartment! 40 degrees outside…seemed like 40 degrees inside! Owner promised to turn on heat “remotely” but didn’t. He knew heater wasn’t working. We checked out the next morning at 9am. We couldn’t take the cold! Owner still charged us for the second day."

"We wanted to visit Lake Como but not stay in the usual tourist locations. We ended up booking this apartment which was halfway up a mountain. It had spectacular views and was silent. The pool is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains and lake. There are a couple of local restaurants and a bar plus a place to get fresh bread and pastries in the morning. "We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Andrea’s apartment. It was even nicer in person than in the photos. The view of the lake was amazing from all the windows, it's amazing to have a shower with a view.
