"We stayed a few days in Veracana in the Casa Lady which was our base during our canyoning trip and it was perfect. The house is located in a small village with a magnificent viewpoint, shops nearby and a great pizzeria with a breathtaking view of the lake. The Casa is large and well appointed, and it has a terrace where we were able to eat."

"No heat in apartment! 40 degrees outside…seemed like 40 degrees inside! Owner promised to turn on heat “remotely” but didn’t. He knew heater wasn’t working. We checked out the next morning at 9am. We couldn’t take the cold! Owner still charged us for the second day."

"We wanted to visit Lake Como but not stay in the usual tourist locations. We ended up booking this apartment which was halfway up a mountain. It had spectacular views and was silent.
