"We really liked the staff that chatted with us and helped out when we had issues with the TV--never did get it to work! The hotel was fun to roam around but the breakfast was limited and there was no one that helped out with the food. The room was very pretty and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay aside from a few flies and the outdoor odor of pigs."

"A wonderful find! A quaint, small property that was perfect in every respect. Friendly staff, delicious breakfast buffet, and a spotless room. Hals is also convenient for sightseeing anywhere in N. "Nice hotel in a handy location for rail and ferry travel. Really good selection of options for breakfast. Just find it a bit much to have to pay for a cup of coffee outside of meal times when many places in the world provide that for free. "
