"This hotel is a good hotel for an in the country hotel for a small country. The facility was affordable and clean, had beautiful views, the food was good, and everything worked. The only complaint is the bed mattress was hard as a rock."

"5 star Top rating for the location and amenities. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was on the second floor. Maverick, the hotel front desk concierge, was very friendly and patient with us. He welcomed us on our first day and answered all of our questions. Maverick arranged all our tours with Andy for the night tour and Abel for the morning boat tour. Both did a fantastic job, but especially Abel, who went above and beyond on the wildlife tour. "The hotel is an older hotel but extremely charming. It has a great pool and is right on the beach. The staff were excellent and friendly. We ate a great meal in the restaurant. Definitely would recommend this hotel."

Comfort, service, and nature at your doorstep

"We had an amazing time at El Encanto. Our room was comfortable and well outfitted, breakfast (and dinner) was tasty, the pools were great and the service was helpful and friendly. Our unexpected favorite part of the experience was the nature you could see from within the hotel walls - sloths (2)!, monkeys, frogs, iguanas and lots of birds. A great combo of luxury and nature. "

A lovely 3 days in wonderful surroundings

"A lovely 3 night stay in beautifully maintained tropical gardens and well kept comfortable 2 bed cottage. Lots of wildlife in the gardens and trees including Sloths. Hosts were fantastic and nothing was too much of a problem. Beautiful swimming pool and right on the beach. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. "

"The property is very beautiful. It is within walking distance of two of the three beaches, there. I asked for advice, on where to eat, and went to one of them. The food was delicious. It was very peaceful, sitting at my table, on the patio, and eating a delicious breakfast, that was delivered to my casa, on both mornings. I also enjoyed watching the wild animals that were on the property."
