"It was great to look at the lake. Just be prepared for a lot of stairs and narrow streets with a lot of turns. Some of the issues were that there was still some food left in the fridge, the garbage wasn't clean, the hot water finishes pretty quickly!"

"Plenty of room for everyone and stunning views of Lake Como! We enjoyed cooling off in the pool after a day of exploring Varenna and Menaggio. Comfortable beds, and Cinzia was a delight to work with! She provided restaurant recommendations and reservations for us. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is."

"This house was incredible and the view of the lake was amazing. The kitchen was great and we were able to cook a large family meal with ease. The host Marinella went out of her way to ensure we had a great stay. We will definitely stay here again in the future."

"Luigi was very helpful in settling us in. The room and bathroom are very basic…nothing fancy. There is no mirror in the bedroom to help to get ready. There is no counter space in the bathroom either. However it was clean."

"Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating."

"This villa was wonderful-great location, close to train and ferry stations as well as restaurants. Quiet, clean, well furnished. Perfect for two couples travelling together for 4 night stay! Really felt as if we were experiencing an “Italian villa” just without the servants!"
