"First of all the owner didn’t know English so he used google translate to communicate (through WhatsApp) so you can imagine how difficult it was communicating with him. Secondly, on the website it said they offer 24/7 airport transfers - turns out they just book you a taxi. Thirdly, in my reservation I had breakfast included and the owner just said “yeah we don’t offer breakfast. And even for the price you lie, you shouldn’t even get the air conditioning but we left you the remote anyway” - once...

"Had an amazing time in Cagliari, made even better by staying in this lovely accommodation. Fabrizio was super helpful in the lead up to our trip and whilst we were there, in terms of suggestions for places to eat and sites of interest. The room we had was charming, with lovely features and the bed was super comfortable. All in all a fantastic stay."

"We had a fantastic stay at Vela Rooms. Ting, and the staff there are incredible. The Room was kept immaculately, super clean, every day stocked with baked goods, water and juice. "I only give 4 starts because no parking space for the hotel and its very difficult to find a space on the street plus have to pay every day except Sundays and siesta time. No free parking anywhere. Otherwise everything in the corner, very lovely area in the city centre. Nice restaurants, supermarkets everywhere. "The location is fantastic, right in the old town, the house was spotlessly clean, Edo, was in contact all time asking it we needed anything, he also left us a bottle of wine, which was a lovely touch, the house had pretty much everything you would need, we totally recommend Edo's place, thank you very much for a great stay."

"The staff was extremely friendly, professional and everything was perfect. The deluxe room was more than enough for myself, my wife and my 7 month old daughter. The breakfast was delicious and there was a wide variety of different food. We’ll be back soon!"

"The staff are fantastic here, some of the digital services are very clunky (room order app, aircon fiddly, cant stream to TV etc) but the staff compensate for these minor issues very well and fixed all but streaming fast. The room was very comfortable, breakfast was excellent, cocktails good and great location to explore from. Honestly though the staff make this place a 5* review, absolutely faultless."
