"The staff were very friendly and accommodating; the breakfast was good - everything from toast and eggs to cerral and fruit. The room was clean and comfortable. Perhaps the pool could use a little upgrading (broken tiles, cleaning around the tiles), but the pool water was clean for swimming. "

"The Lava Hotel is lovely place to stay. The Staff is welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The food is delicious. There is live entertainment on certain days. The location is in a village which gives the atmosphere you would want when trying to be absorbed in the Samoan culture. From the island’s warm breeze to its beautiful surroundings, you would be transported to tranquility. I highly recommend this hotel to any travelers looking for authenticity. "

"Had a fantastic time. Reception manned 24hrs and all the staff were very helpful and answered any questions we had. Breakfast was delicious, different every day including local dishes. Room was nice and cool, had a fridge to keep drinks cold and kettle to make tea or coffee. TV had a choice of channels. Room cleaned daily. Had a patio to sit outside with chairs and table. Also could sit by or swim in pool."

"Return to Paradise is a truly special place. For us it was important to support the island not a large multi national which was one of the reasons for choosing here. We absolutely made the right choice and felt like one of the family. The reef directly in front of the hotel is superb, the trips were wonderful (the turtles and giant clams were a highlight for me).
