"Pine ridge lodge was a great place to stay for a few days in mountain pine ridge. The grounds are full of native plants and even chickens, turkeys, and 2 friendly dogs. The hosts are very friendly and eager to offer recommendations for local sights. Do yourself a favor and eat on site. The chef, Marcia, is very talented. I would definitely stay here again for my next visit to the area. "

"If you are looking for a jungle stay then this is the place! The staff is so friendly and helpful!!! Fred was the best. He was so knowledgeable and gave us advice on places to go and see. Slight caveat: there is a dirt road leading up to the hotel and can get washed out. There is a back up road. Make sure to ask the hotel about the back up road before traveling there. "

It was a very unique experience being in the villa because it’s all open floor plan with only screens separating you from the forest. "Gaia was a wonderful place to enjoy the jungle side of Belize. The staff was very responsive and assisted me with transfer from Belize City and back. There was an extra charge for this service. "We had a wonderful time at the Drift Inn. We had booked it for 2 nights, and decided to stay a 3rd night. One night they had a local drum band preforming, which was amazing! What I did not like was witnessing, a firing of an employee in front of people!!! Very disturbing and disrespectful! "

"The familt thst run the property are not the owners. Very nice family however we did not get the room that we booked. We were told we had to have the basic room rsther than the superior room we chose as thw owner had not setup the Expedia system corectly. Hence the price we paid was only for the basic room. "Our room was very spacious and clean; bed was comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. There is a nice upper porch with chairs although they are right in front of other rooms so you could be disturbing others if you are out there. Staff carried my luggage up the steps.
