"I had a really pleasant experience overall. Ended up staying 4 nights. The only thing that was strange was the last night I had very loud pounding on my room door at 1:30 am. I was actually frightened and after the 3rd time I opened the door to find a lady with a staff member who said I wasn’t the right person. She was banging on all of the doors on my floor. To me I can’t believe that was acceptable at that hour, makes me wonder about security. Despite that, I had a nice stay and the hotel...

"For the budget, this place was excellent. The rooms were clean, showers were hot and powerful, the grounds were pretty and included both a pool and a pond with pretty trees. The Drift Inn isn’t the Four Seasons but it is a good place to spend a few days. HINT: get a pina colada at the pool bar - they’re delicious."

She arranged excursions for us, made sure we had transportation to the location, introduced us to local food, and so much more!! "The property is exactly as described. It was clean, comfortable and convenient. The property there is quite amazing with its ruins and the river and clear creek running right through it. Maddie especially made our time there special. She was so helpful in planning our days and sharing such interesting information about the area in addition to providing meals of breakfast and dinner that were wonderful for a very reasonable fee."
