"If you can’t do the Belmond in Valle Segrado, this is the next best choice. Albiet an older property, the grounds are lovely and to our great delight an alpaca on site. Our only disappointment was the concierge’s service, as this trip to MP was all new for us and we found out later there is more to see around Valle Segrado which was strangely never mentioned/suggested. "The best part about El Sol is the wonderful staff - very kind and helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the shower was amazing - loads of hot water :) The neighborhood is not super quiet if you like to sleep in - it is on a busy street - but also it is close to the main plaza and the view from my bedroom window was spectacular. This is not "The Ritz" but amazing value for the price."
