"Cabin is very pretty 2 bathrooms the queen bed was very comfortable we slept very well. Indoor wood burning stove works really well. We used it when lights went out a few hours. Owner came to greet us and to help with power outage. Had a very comfortable stay. I highly recommend this place close to some absolutely beautiful places and restaurants. "

"For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better. "

"We loved the cozy cottage! It IS cozy but also more spacious than it seems in the photos. It was very comfortable for our family of 4 and we appreciated the welcoming gestures such as spices to cook with, coffee, DVDs, extra towels and blankets. The kitcheware is all top quality and the gas fireplace kept us cozy. It's in a quiet, wooded area about a 15 minute drive to Whiteface mountain and 30 minutes to Lake Placid. We would gladly stay here again!"

"We came to Saranac Lake to check out the Adirondacks. It is a beautiful area. The Cabin is great for kicking back and soaking in the surroundings. We brought a boat with fishing in mind. Not such a good idea. Oh! the cabin advertisement indicated that it was "Blue" . Well, that's only half true. Like I said, we brought a boat so we could leave from the Cabin and fish. But, if one arrives at the cabin by water, it is brown, not blue. It rains on us for 3 days, but we still hadfun."

"This was the first stay at the Cabins at Colby Lake for myself and a group of friends. I rented the Moose Cabin and loved it! I heard about this place from good friends who had stayed here a couple of years ago. We got in Thursday night for a 4 night stay, with skiing, Carnival fun in Saranac with the Parade, live music, the ice castle, and fireworks. "This was our second time staying at the Grand Jay Lodge. It’s a cozy log cabin, with great amenities (hot tub, sauna, air fryer, two laundry rooms). We went with friends last year, and brought the family this year. It’s centrally located between Lake Placid and Keene Valley. Excellent location for trips into town, or to hit a hike out of Adk Log or Keene. The host is very responsive and kind. We’ll be back for a 3rd year! "
